Nursing home in Akron area looking for a Director of Maintenance to join our wonderful team. Great facility with supportive working environment!
Responsibilities Include:
- Completes and oversees facility projects as directed
- Helps ensure resident rooms are neat and in order in a timely fashion
- Assists with audits and inspections as dictated by Department of Health and Life Safety Code requirements
- Other tasks as assigned by Administrator and/or Director of Environmental Services
Minimum Requirements:
- Nursing home experience preferred
- Basic computer skills including email
- Familiar with work order systems (TELS preferred)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team
- Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Patience, understanding and compassion for those requiring our care
